Activity and Service Fee Credit FAQ

How much will my credit be?
If you were assessed the Summer 2011 Activity and Service fee of $159.50, you will receive a $45 credit on your Ubill (pending Board of Regents approval).
If you were assessed the Fall 2011 Activity and Service Fee, one of the following amounts (see table) will be credited to your Ubill based on the amount you were assessed. This is pending Board of Regents approval.
Undergraduate
Credit Range Adjustment Credit
0.5 to 5.0 $45.00 (assessed $159.50)
5.5 to 11.0 $67.50 (assessed $239.00)
11.5 or higher $89.95 (assessed $317.80)
Graduate and Professional
Credit Range Adjustment Credit
0.5 to 4.0 $45.00 (assessed $159.50)
4.5 to 8.0 $67.50 (assessed $239.00)
8.5 or higher $89.95 (assessed $317.80)
When will the credit be available on my Ubill?
Credits will be posted to the Ubill starting September 23, 2011.
When will I get my refund?
If your ISU Ubill account balance is paid in full, or you owe less than the credit you are receiving, you will see a refund to your direct deposit account starting September 30, 2011.
When will the Board of Regents approve this credit?
The Board of Regents could approve the credit at their September 20, 2011 meeting.
What if I have a scholarship or sponsorship that has paid the Activity and Service Fee, do I still get the refund?
Students who receive assistance for the payment of the Activity and Service Fee will see those credits go back to the scholarship or sponsorship provider.
What if I paid Recreation Services directly?
(Ubill Option) Beginning September 23, 2011 you will see a credit on your Ubill for $45.00.*
