Sciences & Mathematics Access to Retain Talent (SMART) Grant
A National SMART Grant will provide up to $4,000 for each of the third and fourth years of undergraduate study to students who meet the follow requirements:
- Applicants must be Pell Eligible
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Applicants must be enrolled full-time (12 credits or more)
- Applicants must have completed less than 120 credits of collegiate studies
- Applicants must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
Eligible Majors
Applicants must be completing one of the following majors to be considered eligible to receive a SMART grant:

- Animal Ecology
- Aerospace Engineering
- Agriculture Undeclared
- Agricultural Biochemistry
- Agronomy
- Animal Science

Annual Award
The maximum Sciences & Mathematics Access to Retain Talent Grant award is $4,000.
Application Process
All eligible students will be considered for the Federal Pell Grant after completing the FAFSA.
