SAE Doctoral Scholars Program
The SAE Doctoral Scholars Program provides funding to assist and encourage promising engineering graduate students to pursue careers in teaching at the college level.
Requirements
- Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree from an engineering program at a school where the undergraduate program is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology
- At the time of application, applicant must be admitted to a doctoral program with the purpose of teaching engineering at the college level
Annual Award
Loans are available in amounts up to $5,000 for three years, with a total of $15,000. For each year spent teaching engineering, one year's loan will be forgiven.
