FAFSA Signature

1. Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov
2. Select - Option 3: FAFSA Follow-up -
   Check Status of submitted FAFSA or print Signature Page
3. Click NEXT on the 'Check Status' Screen
4. Enter information requested:
• Student Social Security Number
• Student Full last name
• Student Full first name
• Student Date of Birth
• Select Year of FAFSA Application (example: 2007-2008) and click SUBMIT
5. 'Application Found' page will indicate Signature Status
6. In the paragraph directly below the Signature Status line, you will have the option to:
• 'Print a Signature Page'
• 'Sign the Application Electronically'
7. If you choose to 'Print a Signature Page', you have two options for your convenience:
• Return via mail to the Federal Address on the Signature Page
• Return to the Office of Student Financial Aid, 0210 Beardshear Hall, Ames, IA 50011 or fax to 515-294-3622
